Bridges Private School Poway

I have a question regarding Bridges Private school in Poway, CA on Oak Knoll Road. When this is a private school, who is the school responsible to, what organization? Would this fall under the Poway School District or Department of Education? I am not sure. I am considering looking at this school but want to know who they would be accountable to. Where would they be measured and held to what standards and practices? Who would one contact to check their records for success or contact with issues or concerns?
