Dylan Mills
This is in regard to the suspension of Dylan Mills. The "event" that caused the suspension of Dylan Mills was not while school was in session. Today it was learned that his suspension will be continued until the next school board meeting 2/14/06. If Dylan Mills had been trouble maker and had caused problems in school and the event included a real gun (not a plastic one)it would be quite a different story. This is probably going to reflect on him for quite some time. What is another week going to prove by keeping him out of school. He is keeping up with his school work. Is he going to be credited for this work, or is it going to put him behind. I believe that he is being tried as a hardened criminal. The punishment that he is enduring is going to the extreme. There are so many other big issues going on with this school system, I think there needs to be a BIG shake-up before individuals are ruined of their education.
