different perspective
As a former parent of an LLS child, I will be the first to admit that there was an enormous amount of nurturing to be found at LLS for the right student. By "right" student, I mean the student who was always compliant, whose parents demanded minimal educational standards, and were willing to let their children be led blindly by the maybe two parents on the PTL who ran the school while the principal cut the grass. PEOPLE YOU ARE PAYING MONEY FOR EXPERIENCES LIKE 'DRESS TODAY AS YOUR FAVORITE BIBLE CHARACTER'??? That is about how expansive the school gets. And every student in every grade is on the honor/merit roll, yet the school can't meet minimal state standards? I am a former parent for the above mentioned reasons, but my list is very long. God bless the teachers at LLS. They are incredible and inspirational to work under the conditions that they manage.
