Because he hates us and never wants to release Detox, Dr. Dre has revealed plans to work on yet another project outside of the music studio. This one's not related to his Beats By Dre Studio headphones, at least, and instead finds him teaming with Crucial Films on a new horror movie called Thaw. The premise of the flick is that there's some great evil, or whatever, emerging from the rapidly melting ice in the Yukon territory in Canada.
Waka Flocka Flame, who crushed hip-hop's modus operandi in 2010, has been working on his sophomore LP, titled Triple F Life, for close to two years with no potential release calendar on the books. That changed last night though: Waka Flocka says the album is due out on June 12. You can expect it to come out around then, probably, as Waka's "Round of Applause" is a mega hit on rap radio Dr Dre Beats Studio, and his label is sure to try to strike quickly on it.
