Overcrowding on the bus
To Whom it May Concern: I am very concerned about the overcrowding on the bus, in particular bus #12. It is not legal to expect students to ride 4 in a seat is it? Preschoolers are being forced to sit with the high schoolers--not a very smooth thing to do. It is not at all the bus drivers fault. If, when the kids are forced to sit 4 in a seat in the winter and the bus is in an accident, then the school district will be very reliable for any injuries due to unsafe tranpsportation of our children. I may $4,000. a year in property taxes, I would expect a better situation with transportation and the safety of my children and everyone elses children to and from school. This is a problem now, it will be an even bigger problem in the winter months, with snowboots and snowpants etc. Our kids lifes should not have to be put into danger every time they set foot on the school bus, just to get to and from school. The option of taking my kids to school is not an option. I will not be forced to do that with the high taxes we already pay. If I have to start taking my children to and from school then the school district can be paying for my gas to do so, as it will be an awful inconvenience with work schedules in Eau Claire. Please look into this situation TODAY, NOT TOMORROW as tommorrow might be too late. Thank-you.
